Selection

Selection comprises the definition of which vaccines are to be included in the immunization programme and the target groups, as well as the identification of which presentations and suitable immunization devices are required. It also includes the establishment of technical specifications for the products that will be procured.

Note that the parameters listed, specific to each procurement process, cannot be used to draw a score of the vaccine procurement capacity, as they represent different levels of details and granularity. For example, some questions might be too broad and might need further exploration in order to be used for a proper assessment.
