Target product profiles (TPPs)

TPPs communicate requirements for products that are currently not available on the market but that fulfil a priority need in the context that UNICEF and its partners operate.

Target product profiles (TPPs) communicate requirements for products that are currently not available on the market but that fulfil a priority need to be met in the unique context in which UNICEF and its partners operate.

The purpose of TPPs is to guide industry to develop products that meet UNICEF’s needs. However, they do not act as the final procurement specifications but rather as a list of desired requirements that combined describe the ideal product considering the context. TPPs from UNICEF and partners that are relevant for children and UNICEF’s programmatic needs are available below.
