The Funding Compendium 2025 comprises financial information on income and contributions received provided by public and private sector resource partners to UNICEF. It outlines the various funding streams to UNICEF, including Regular Resources, Thematic funding and multi-year resources.
- In 2025, UNICEF`s total income decreased to $ 8,084 million from $ 8,263 million in 2024.
- Of this income,
- Unearmarked core resources or Regular Resources (RR) amounted to $1,517 million.
- Earmarked Other Resources decreased by 2 per cent, to a total of $6,568 million.
- Public sector income constituted 69 per cent or $5,523 million of total income.
- Private sector income constituted 27 per cent or $2,209 million of total income.
We deeply appreciate all our partners who have contributed to our shared accomplishments in 2025. As we approach 2026, we recognize that children and adolescents will face an increasing number of complex challenges that will profoundly affect their lives. This calls for even closer collaboration with our partners to integrate humanitarian aid and development efforts, prioritizing children, and vulnerable populations.
This moment is both urgent and full of potential. Just as fragility can spread, so too can resilience, solidarity, and progress. Over recent decades, tremendous strides have been made worldwide for children across all areas. We can achieve this again—and it is more essential now than ever before, that we do.
