Highlights

In 2017, UNICEF procured $3.46 billion in supplies and services for children in 150 countries and areas. Partnerships, competition, and strategic procurement contributed to price reductions for vaccines and other supplies, saving $394.6 million for governments and donors. Throughout the year, UNICEF’s focus on delivering sustainable access to life-saving commodities yielded results in health, education, protection and social inclusion. The report details key commodity groups and services, with detailed annexes identifying suppliers, service providers and procurement value.
