The UNICEF NextGen community is a group of investors, philanthropists, influencers and creatives who commit their financial resources, expertise and enthusiasm to support UNICEF’s life-saving work. Since 2009, NextGen has invested, raised and influenced over $78 million for UNICEF.

NextGen Global Principals
The NextGen Global Principals are a small team who use their finance, influence and network to improve children’s lives by unlocking support for UNICEF. Serving as a fundraising incubator, principals have developed fundraising opportunities and relationships for UNICEF, influencing some $10 million in multi-year support. Principals also champion UNICEF and children’s rights within their circles of influence. They manage portfolios of NextGen investments in fields such as mental health, impact investing, climate, education and digitalization.

Through six national chapters, NextGen members strive to leave a positive mark on the world within their own lifetimes, in their own ways. This includes investments to directly support UNICEF's programmes or sustainable finance models (like our Innovation Fund, Impact Fund for Children and Cryptofund); advocacy and thought leadership around children's rights; and corporate social responsibility. NextGen members also help UNICEF expand its global network by making strategic connections to family offices, corporations, philanthropic and impact networks, and other entities working towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
