The expansion of the Corona virus has left a vast majority of children and adolescents out of school. While the duration of school closure is still uncertain, a prolonged disruption may have significant consequences in terms of learning, and the most vulnerable may never return to school.
Therefore, it is key for students to continue learning and that they are able to do so in an enabling and inclusive environment with the required support.
To ensure continuity of education, it is fundamental to provide learning opportunities with innovative approaches and through diverse modalities such as distance education platforms, access to online courses or through mass media that do not require internet access, such as: radio, television and smartphones, as well as printed materials.
