UNICEF YuWaah and SAP India unveiled ‘The Road to Yutopia’, a series of practical frameworks advancing youth centrality across workplaces and development programmes.
The Youth Centrality at Workplaces Framework, provides businesses with an actionable roadmap to build workplaces that are youth-friendly, inclusive, and future-ready. Designed for organisations employing youth, it offers an actionable roadmap for embedding perspectives and insights from early talent or young professionals across workplace systems, from recruitment and culture to governance and innovation.
Building on this, the Youth Centrality as Beneficiaries Framework guides organisations in designing and delivering youth programmes that are inclusive, participatory, and youth-centred. It offers an actionable roadmap for moving beyond traditional beneficiary approaches and embedding young people’s perspectives, priorities, and lived experiences across programme design, implementation, and decision-making.
Together, the frameworks build on Yutopia, a Public, Private, Youth alliance jointly led by UNICEF YuWaah and SAP India, which envisages a future where young people are not only participants, employees, or recipients of development programmes, but active partners, co-creators, and leaders in shaping solutions that affect their lives.
