Passport to Earning (P2E) is a flagship learning-to-earning programme that gives young people aged 15–24 free skills training and certification, and connects them to opportunities to earn.
What P2E offers
P2E, a global programme by Generation Unlimited, has been adapted for the Indian context in collaboration with government and implementation partners. It helps young people build in-demand skills and connect to jobs, hands-on experience and entrepreneurship, with a special focus on young people from marginalised communities.

Learning and opportunities offered at no cost, with the platform tailored to India's context and languages.
Job-relevant courses
Curricula developed with the private sector and young people, covering digital, financial, employability and artificial intelligence (AI) readiness skills.
Certification
Recognised certificates that let young people show what they have learned.

Links to partners offering career guidance, coaching, job matching, placements, internships, mentorships, bootcamps and entrepreneurship support.

P2E has moved beyond foundational digital skills towards AI-enabled learning and job-readiness pathways, with a strong emphasis on practical, workplace-relevant competencies. Courses span foundational, digital, financial and AI readiness skills.
Two recent courses lead this shift:
- Digital Productivity with Artificial Intelligence: the most widely accessed and completed P2E course.
- Design Fundamentals with Artificial Intelligence: practical design skills using AI tools.
I realised how little we actually know, and how much we can grow when given the right opportunity.
Through P2E, Priti Manjari Sahu, a young woman from rural Odisha, gained practical skills and the confidence to dream bigger, inspiring hundreds of local youth to follow in her footsteps.
After completing P2E training in digital productivity, Priti secured a part-time job, helped 200+ women enrol in the programme, and began contributing to her household income, turning learning into earning and inspiring girls in her community.
