About
The Cranky Uncle Vaccine game set out to combat vaccine misinformation and rebuild trust in vaccination by encouraging players to develop critical thinking. Now the results of pilot studies in Kenya, Uganda and Ghana are in, and we’re excited to see that this novel social and behavior change intervention is a success!
The majority of participants in all three countries showed more resilience to misinformation and were more likely to get vaccinated after getting to know Cranky Uncle and his attempts to trick them while playing the game.
