Where we work

UNICEF works across 36 countries and territories in Asia and the Pacific to reach the children and young people in greatest need

Asia and the Pacific is a vast region, stretching north to Mongolia, south and east to the Pacific islands and west to Afghanistan. It is as diverse as it is large, with wide-ranging climate, topography, history, culture and development.

UNICEF works across 36 countries and territories in 22 country offices throughout the region to reach children in some of the world’s toughest situations – in areas of conflict, disaster, insecurity and displacement. Alongside civil organizations, multi-national institutions, governments and regional associations, UNICEF works to protect the rights of every child.
