FIRST 1,000 DAYS BILL NOW A LAW

First 1000 Days law passed Child rights organizations in the Philippines including UNICEF expressed relief as the “First 1,000 Days” Bill, which seeks to expand the country’s nutrition and health programs to cover children from the first day of the mother’s pregnancy to the their first two years, gets signed into law.
