The reports analyze the size and composition of budget allocations for these sectors in the current fiscal year, identifying trends over the years, and provide information on the efficiency, equity, and appropriateness of expenditures.
The main objectives of the budget reports include synthesizing complex budget information so that it is easily understood by various stakeholders and presenting key messages and recommendations to influence public financial decision-making processes and leverage national resources for children. This initiative is part of a collaborative approach with the Ministry of Public Finance to support the Government of Angola and all stakeholders in adopting all necessary measures to implement the rights recognized in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, making the best use of available resources, as provided for in Article IV of the Convention.
