Highlights

What could the future of education look like? How could emerging issues in technology, climate, policy and beyond shape the future of education?

Our Youth Foresight Fellows asked a special group of experts: children and young people.

Fifteen fellows designed and led national research projects, organizing over 40 workshops and engaging more than 800 children and young people across 15 countries. Using foresight tools, they identified signals of change, imagined preferred futures, and created space for honest conversations about hopes, fears, and possibilities. The findings are deeply tied to lived experiences and local realities, making this report not just visionary but also a call to action.

Here is a small glimpse into what you can find in the report:

  • Strengthening inclusion and equity in France, Kazakhstan and the United States
  • Advocating for girls and their futures in India, Mauritania and Senegal
  • Exploring the impact of AI in schools in Ghana, Kenya and Norway
  • Building in climate awareness in Guinea-Bissau and the Philippines
  • Centring emotional well-being and peace in Ecuador and Haiti
  • Emphasising practical and experiential learning in Algeria and Madagascar

The Young Visionaries: Child Rights Youth Foresight Report on Education 2025 is a youth-led exploration of how education could and should evolve to meet the opportunities and risks of tomorrow.

The launch of the Young Visionaries report on 13 November brought together more than 250 attendees from around the world.
