Engaging with Children in Humanitarian Evaluations: Lessons Learned on the Use of Photovoice in West and Central Africa

Watch the evaluation webinar recording:

Photovoice is a powerful method that allows children to actively contribute to the planning, data collection, analysis and dissemination phases of the evaluation process. Unlike other extractive data collection methods and similar adult-centric methodologies, Photovoice enables children - especially the most marginalized - to express their thoughts and feelings through games and other picture-taking recreational activities.

Presenter: Michele Tarsilla, PhD (Regional Evaluation Adviser, UNICEF West and Central Africa Regional Office).
