Regional and Country Offices plan and manage evaluations that respond to regional and country priorities and generate timely, context-specific evidence. Covering development and humanitarian settings, these evaluations assess UNICEF's policies, programmes, strategies, and partnerships to understand what is working, what can be improved, and how UNICEF can achieve better results for children.
Together with global evaluations led by the Evaluation Office, regional and country evaluations form an interconnected evidence base that supports decision-making, accountability, and learning across UNICEF. Guided by the UNICEF Evaluation Policy, this decentralized approach helps ensure that evaluation responds to local priorities while contributing to broader organizational and global learning
