Mongolia has among the highest rates of adolescent suicide in East Asia and the Pacific. UNICEF supports the Mongolian Government in developing and implementing a multi-level, cross-sectoral response to improve adolescent mental health and wellbeing and introduced mental health literacy, life skills programmes, and counselling services in secondary schools.
