About

This guide describes disability working groups and disability focal points as two mechanisms to strengthen coordination across agencies and sectors on disability inclusion. These methods help avoid duplication of efforts, organize joint action, and inform strategic decision-making, ensuring that assistance reaches those people who need it most.

This short guide is part of the toolbox on including children with disabilities in humanitarian action which provides a package of operational tools to strengthen disability-inclusive disability inclusion in emergencies based on the Core Commitments for Children in Humanitarian Action (CCCs).
