This tip sheet presents some key steps for identifying and starting an engagement with organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) and provides tips for anyone new to disability inclusion, including those who are implementing the humanitarian response. 

This tip sheet is part of the toolbox on including children with disabilities in humanitarian action which provides a package of operational tools to strengthen disability inclusion in emergencies.
