Highlights
This guidebook supports public health managers and implementing partners in identifying and selecting digital tools to improve the planning, delivery, and monitoring of health campaigns. It provides practical guidance on how digital solutions can enhance campaign effectiveness and align with broader health system strengthening goals.
The guidebook is organized into three key sections to guide tool comparison and decision-making:
- Campaign phases: provides an overview of each phase of a health campaign highlighting key goals, workflows, and use cases for digitization,
- Campaign tools selection matrix: offers a comparative view of digital tools available to support different aspects of each campaign phase, helping users assess which solutions best meet their needs,
- Tool functionality across phases: presents a cross-cutting overview of each digital tool's functionality across all campaign phases to support integrated and sustainable planning.
This guidebook was developed by UNICEF and partners through a consultative process informed by experience across immunization, malaria, neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), nutrition, and other health campaigns.
