Drawing on UNICEF’s work through the SafeChild partnership with the Government of Luxembourg, this white paper positions secure, accountable digital systems as foundational to children’s safety, dignity and long-term well-being, especially in low-resource and humanitarian settings. It calls on governments, industry and humanitarian actors to treat cybersecurity not as a technical afterthought, but as a core child rights issue in the digital age.
