TP renews its commitment with UNICEF to support education and humanitarian response
TP for UNICEF
Geneva, October 6th – TP (ex-Teleperformance), a global leader in digitally integrated business services, has renewed its partnership with UNICEF for over three years. This support will contribute to strengthen education programmes in Brazil, Ghana, India and the Philippines, as well as UNICEF’s emergency response efforts to humanitarian crises worldwide.
Building on a successful collaboration
Since 2022, TP has partnered with UNICEF to uphold children’s rights and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The support during the first three years focused on supporting education programmes mainly in the Philippines. Through this renewal, TP’s support will enable the creation of safer and more inclusive learning environments equipped with water and sanitation facilities, the training of teachers, and the provision of school supplies for students in need in three additional countries.
TP’s support throughout the partnership has supported UNICEF’s work to respond to humanitarian crises, contributing to deliver life-saving assistance and protecting vulnerable children and their families.
Tangible results for children
In the Philippines, TP's support has contributed to strengthening national education policies and coordination, expanded local governments’ capacity to provide inclusive early childhood education, and developed systems for the prevention and intervention of developmental delays. Since 2022, more than 89,000 children aged 3 to 4 and 2,510 educators have directly benefited from these initiatives.
TP's contributions to UNICEF’s humanitarian response have also been critical in protecting the most vulnerable children. For example, in 2024 in Sudan, despite a highly challenging conflict context, UNICEF estimates that around 54,000 women and children were able to access life-saving health care thanks to this partnership.
TP’s support to UNICEF’s humanitarian response includes the work carried out in eight regions worldwide, including in Ukraine, Syria and Türkiye following the devastating earthquakes, Nigeria, the Philippines, Sudan, as well as in Latin America and the Caribbean.
“Being a partner with UNICEF allows us to increase the impact of our actions in favor of education for the most disadvantaged populations, and to mobilize the entire company around projects that have meaning,” said Daniel Julien, CEO of TP Group.
“We greatly value TP for renewing its commitment to children. This partnership will help provide lifesaving assistance to children in humanitarian crises, while also supporting the provision of quality education, to promote a safe, resilient, and peaceful future for children, their families and communities.” Carla Haddad, UNICEF Director Private Fundraising and Partnerships
A renewed and essential commitment
With this renewed support, TP reaffirms its commitment to building a more equitable future for children by guaranteeing access to education, even in the most fragile contexts.
UNICEF expresses its deep gratitude to TP for its trust and the flexibility of this funding, which makes it possible to reach the most vulnerable children in the most hard-to-reach areas.
