Kimberly-Clark
Partner since 2001
Since 2001, Kimberly-Clark and UNICEF have partnered to protect the health and well-being of over 14 million babies, girls and women at every stage of their lives: care for newborns taking their first breaths, early childhood development for toddlers taking their first steps in the world, clean water and sanitation to support girls menstruation, and emergency relief to support communities during their hardest moments.
With a new commitment of $12.7 million over the next three years, we’re partnering to improve the lives of babies, adolescent girls, and women by addressing their unique needs from early days to puberty to motherhood. In Brazil, India, Indonesia, Peru, and Viet Nam, our partnership is empowering women and adolescent girls through their health journey.
Together, we are:
- Empowering adolescent girls and young mothers through education campaigns that break menstrual stigma, promote dignity, and support safe childbirth, breastfeeding and caregiving.
- Strengthening health and education systems by training frontline workers, upgrading water, sanitation and hygiene facilities, and advancing policies that are adolescent- and gender-responsive.
- Centering the voices of girls and young mothers, ensuring their real-life experiences guide programs, policies and advocacy.
- Uniting for sustainable impact, combining UNICEF’s global reach with Kimberly-Clark’s deep commitment to care — creating a shared value model that drives gender equity, health and opportunity for generations to come.
Previous contributions from Kimberly-Clark, their employees and customers have also supported UNICEF’s humanitarian response efforts, including during emergencies in Brazil, Colombia, Haiti, India, Peru, Puerto Rico and globally during the COVID-19 pandemic.
UNICEF does not endorse any company, brand, product or service.
