Handbook to improve adolescent health

UNICEF in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the government of Klaten and West Lombok, and assisted with SEAMEO RECFON as the implementing partner, launched Aksi Bergizi, as a pilot program to improve the health and well-being of adolescents in two districts, Klaten, Central Java Province and West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB).

One of the key aspects in the program is to improve literacy sessions on nutrition and health through Aksi Bergizi handbook. This handbook consists of 36 sessions aimed at facilitators and students, and can be implemented for one academic year.
