For more than 70 years, child rights have been at the heart of our strong partnerships in Indonesia.
UNICEF’s work in Indonesia is driven by an uncompromising commitment to giving a fair start in life to every child – especially the most disadvantaged.
Together with national and local governments, civil society partners, the private sector, influential personalities – and children and young people themselves, UNICEF is committed to doing whatever it takes to help children thrive and fulfil their potential – starting where a child’s life all the way to adulthood.

Public sector
Our public sector partners include governments at national, provincial and local levels, international financial institutions and other multilateral organizations. Together, we advocate for and with children, help set agendas that prioritize their rights, and mobilize resources to achieve a more equitable and sustainable world.

Private sector
We unite with the corporate sector, philanthropies, foundations and others to achieve sustainable change for the world’s children. Through strategic funding, by leveraging a company’s core expertise and networks, or by working with industries to promote child-rights principles in responsible business practices, private sector partnerships help us make a transformational difference for children.

Influencers
Prominent personalities from the worlds of art, music, film, sport, social media (digital) and more play a critical role in shining a light on the challenges children face in Indonesia and around the world. Our National Ambassadors and other champions for children help us to raise awareness and mobilize for children.

Civil society
We join forces with diverse organizations in civil society to reach communities and local decision makers. Our civil society partners include non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations, universities, think tanks, research institutes, community-based organizations, social movements and more.

United Nations
As part of the United Nations, UNICEF works closely with other UN funds, programmes and agencies to support countries towards the Sustainable Development Goals. Through joint programmes and funding arrangements, we harness our complementary strengths to advance progress for children.
