Evaluation partnerships
A key strategy underpinning the Evaluation function at UNICEF.
Partnerships are integral to the success of the evaluation function at UNICEF. Through global partnerships and networks, UNICEF supports nationally owned evaluation processes essential to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Joint initiatives with partners including the Global Evaluation Initiative, Global SDG Synthesis Coalition and the Evidence Synthesis Infrastructure Collaborative, IDEAS, EvalPartners, the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval), the Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation, among many others, enable us to deliver better results for children, develop innovative approaches, and offer a comprehensive support package to governments and stakeholders worldwide.
Through close coordination with other United Nations agencies and their evaluation offices, especially through the United Nations Evaluation Group, UNICEF contributes substantively to system-wide evaluations and overall UN coherence in evaluation.
