About

The evidence base on child marriage has grown substantially over the past decade and a number of systematic reviews have informed understandings of what works to prevent the practice and improve outcomes for adolescent girls.

This evidence paper synthesizes these reviews and a number of high-quality evaluations to provide greater clarity on the effectiveness of specific interventions to prevent child marriage.
