This synthesis supports the third objective of Safe to Learn’s Call to Action – Shift social norms and behaviour change – which aims for parents, teachers, children, local government and community leaders to recognize the devastating impact of violence in schools and take action to promote positive social norms and gender equality to ensure schools are safe spaces for learning.
