ASEAN’s COVID-19 Response Fund donates Pfizer vaccine to help Thailand fight COVID-19

UNICEF delivered 83,070 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines which donated by ASEAN to the Department of Disease Control.

BANGKOK, 13 September 2022 - The ASEAN’s COVID-19 Response Fund is donating 83,070 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines worth 34.8 million Thai baht (USD 996,840) to help the Royal Thai Government fight the pandemic.

The vaccines, delivered by UNICEF, will support Thailand’s COVID-19 response and immunization programme in which the Ministry of Public Health will distribute these vaccines to health centres nationwide. These vaccines will help continued protection against severe illness and death from COVID-19.
