Children’s voices matter

A page of the playbook
UNICEF Moldova/2026

About

This playbook provides practical guidance for designing and implementing child-friendly feedback and complaint mechanisms that help children and adolescents safely share their views, concerns, and experiences. Developed across Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania, Türkiye, and Ukraine, it brings together evidence, tools, prototypes, and implementation guidance co-created with children, caregivers, institutions, and civil society partners. The document highlights age-appropriate approaches for children aged 4–17, including creative, digital, and classroom-based feedback channels, while offering guidance on trust-building, inclusion, safeguarding, monitoring, and closing the feedback loop so children’s voices lead to meaningful action.
