Would you like to develop new skills this summer, meet inspiring people and spend your time in a meaningful way? UNICEF, Orange Moldova Foundation and the PRO BONO Information and Resource Centre invite young people to register for the “Youth in Action” Summer Camp, organized for the fourth year in a row.

The camp is designed for adolescents and focuses on strengthening civic participation, as well as social-emotional and digital skills. Special attention is given to young people from the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and vulnerable groups.

This year’s programme will focus on civic engagement, critical thinking, innovation, digital safety, wellbeing and collaboration among young people from different communities.

It is a great opportunity to spend part of the summer with other adolescents interested in civic participation, technology, creativity, healthy relationships and personal development.

Who can participate: young people aged 14 to 19.

Participants can choose only one of the two available rounds:

Round I: 13–16 July 2026
Round II: 20–23 July 2026

Location: Vadul lui Vodă

Why participate?

The camp offers young people the chance to learn, broaden their horizons, grow and better understand how they can play an active role in their communities. Participants will interact with specialists, work in teams, test new ideas and explore how youth participation can become even more visible and meaningful.

Over four days, participants will take part in a dynamic and interactive programme based on practical activities, teamwork and learning through participation. The programme will cover topics that are relevant and useful for adolescents, including:

  • civic participation and active democracy;
  • STEAM: robotics, programming, 3D modelling and hands-on learning;
  • artificial intelligence, digital safety and critical thinking;
  • wellbeing, mental health and emotional management;
  • prevention of gender-based violence and promotion of healthy relationships;
  • inclusion, collaboration and social cohesion.

In addition to the thematic sessions, the camp will offer a space for young people to connect in an open and friendly atmosphere. Ideas often come more naturally when people learn not only during sessions, but also through shared experiences. What participants discover and practise during the camp can later help them bring useful initiatives to their own communities.

Participation is free of charge.

The organizers cover all costs related to accommodation, meals and participation in activities. Transport costs will be reimbursed based on the travel ticket and an identity document. Personal transport costs will not be reimbursed.

How to register: access the link and complete the form HERE. Registration is open until 5 July 2026.
