Children, as an evidence-based resource for governments, international agencies, non-governmental organizations and individuals committed to preventing and responding to violence against children. Ten core agencies collaborated on its development, including the World Health Organization (WHO), United States (US) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Global Partnership to End Violence against Children, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), Together for Girls (TfG), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Bank.
