Community-Based Health Care, Including Outreach and Campaigns, in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic

The community-based platform, with its distinct capacities for health-care delivery and social engagement, has a critical role to play in the COVID-19 response. This guidance outlines the role of community-based health care and adaptations to keep people safe, maintain the continuity of essential services, and ensure an effective response to COVID-19.

This guidance was developed by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the World Health Organization and UNICEF.
