Communication for Development (C4D) is a cross-sectoral strategy of UNICEF. In UNICEF India’s Country Programme Action Plan for 2018-2022, C4D is weaved within programmes.
The programme design is based on Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) and the UNICEF India Gender Framework. In India it enlists six strategies—system strengthening, capacity development, building social capital, platforms and mega-partnerships for at-scale and convergent SBCC programming, targeted SBCC campaigns, evidence generation and knowledge management.
This report presents the results C4D has attributed to against UNICEF's six programmatic outputs, 21 indicators and within the framework of the SBCC-Gender Strategy.
