Children affected

  • In 2022 there has been 148 HIV diagnoses among children up to 12 years. Of those, 55.4 per cent (82 diagnoses) had HIV transmission from mother to child, while 32.4 per cent (48 diagnoses) had HIV transmission through multitransfusion of blood and blood products.
