Early Childhood Development
In the first years of their lives, thousands of vulnerable infants and young children do not receive the support and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
With your donation, UNICEF provides developmental screenings for young children, as well as individualized support, early intervention, and care for children with developmental challenges and their families.
Education
There are still children who do not have equal access to quality education and an inclusive school environment where they feel accepted and supported.
UNICEF works to ensure that every child can learn, develop, and be part of a school that supports them and gives them a chance for the future.
Protection
One in two children in Bulgaria has experienced some form of violence, and one in three children has been a victim of physical violence.
Through the “Zona Zakrila” model, UNICEF and its partners protect children’s rights, provide psychological, legal, and social support under one roof, and work to prevent violence.
Emergency Response
During disasters, conflicts, or emergency situations, children are often the most vulnerable.
UNICEF provides emergency assistance, protection, and access to essential services for children and their families when they need it most.
For 80 years, UNICEF has been working in over 190 countries to protect children’s rights and give them hope, no matter how challenging the world may be.
