Adolescents who engage in substance use, including alcohol, cannabis and other substances are at increased risk of violence have higher likelihood of both externalizing (such as aggression, and conduct issues) and internalizing (such as depression, anxiety) problems experiencing injuries unsafe driving4, risky sexual behaviors5 and untimely death.
