Adolescence is a critical period for promoting and protecting mental health, laying the foundation for lifelong wellbeing, resilience, building meaningful relationships, and the ability to thrive in an ever-changing world. With 1 in 7 adolescents globally facing mental health challenges, fostering supportive environments that promote the mental health of all and ensuring those in need have access to evidence-based, youth-friendly care and support solutions has never been more urgent.

UNICEF’s Adolescent Mental Health Hub is a dynamic global platform designed to equip policymakers, practitioners, caregivers, and young people with the knowledge, tools, and networks needed to drive transformative change for adolescent and caregiver mental health. The hub focuses on preventative and promotive mental health which include early interventions, proactive approaches that build resilience, strengthen support systems, and create environments where adolescents can thrive.

Here, you’ll find a space for inspiration and collaboration, with practical, evidence-based resources—from implementation toolkits and policy guidance to real-world case studies—curated to support the mental health of adolescents and those who care for them. Connect with our global Community of Practice to exchange insights, share stories of change, learn from others and explore opportunities to scale impact.

Join the movement to create a world where every adolescent and caregiver has access to the information, tools and support they need to nurture their mental health and reach their full potential.
