About
The National Youth Support Network Contacto Joven (hereinafter Contacto Joven) provides psycho-emotional support with psychosocial components to adolescents and young people who request help via electronic messaging (WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger). The case support offered through Contacto Joven is built on five key components of action:
- Initial training (virtual and synchronous) for individuals who provide support to adolescents and young people.
- Direct case support, delivered through electronic messaging to adolescents and young people.
- Case supervision, offered to support personnel by mental health specialists.
- Evaluation of the support provided through Contacto Joven, carried out by those who request help using a specifically designed tool.
- Development of psychoeducational materials to support the accompaniment process.
