Yemen MICS-EAGLE Factsheet | 2024
Key Education Insights based on Yemen MICS Data
About
The Yemen MICS-EAGLE Factsheet 2024 provides a comprehensive analysis of education-related data based on the Yemen Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) carried out between July 2022 and May 2023 by the Central Statistical Organization with technical and financial support of UNICEF.
The factsheet is part of the global MICS-EAGLE (Education Analysis for Global Learning and Equity) Initiative launched in 2018 with the objective of improving learning outcomes and equity issues in education by addressing two critical education data problems – gaps in key education indicators, as well as lack of effective data utilization by governments and education stakeholders.
The Yemen MICS-EAGLE Factsheet 2024 is designed to:
- Support education sector situation analysis and sector plan development by building national capacity, and leveraging the vast wealth of education data collected by MICS6; and
- Build on the global data foundation provided by MICS6 to yield insights at the national, regional, and global level about ways to ensure each child can reach his or her full potential by reducing barriers to opportunity.
The Yemen MICS-EAGLE Factsheet 2024 provides a valuable resource for stakeholders in the education sector and beyond offering insights to inform national policies, guide educational planning, and contribute to monitoring progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other internationally recognized benchmarks.
