Recognizing the shifting global landscape—marked by urbanization, food insecurity, and rising non-communicable diseases—UNICEF promotes integrated, equity-focused solutions that address the full life cycle of nutrition and health. Through community outreach, digital innovations, and cross-sectoral partnerships, we aim to reach the most vulnerable and ensure no child is left behind.

In partnerships, Government of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan have achieved significant progress in improving maternal and child nutrition. The promotion of exclusive breastfeeding, vitamin A and micronutrient supplementation, and strengthened more than 500 health worker training have contributed to better nutrition outcomes.

UNICEF is committed to preventing all forms of malnutrition across the life cycle—starting from pregnancy through adolescence. We will continue to support the government in scaling up proven nutrition interventions, integrating nutrition into school health programs, and expanding community-based platforms for counseling and care. By prioritizing equity, climate resilience, and local leadership, UNICEF aims to build a sustainable, inclusive nutrition system where every child can grow up healthy and thrive.
