What you need to know about UNICEF
For 77 years globally and 30 years in Uzbekistan, UNICEF has been committed to enhancing the lives of children and their families, focusing particularly on the most vulnerable.
In the face of significant global challenges, UNICEF staff work tirelessly to uphold every child’s right to nutrition, protection from natural disasters and abuse, and equal opportunities.
Driven by the principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, UNICEF aims to embed these standards as fundamental ethical guidelines and international norms for children's welfare.
Through consistent program implementation, UNICEF collaborates with the Government of Uzbekistan at national and local levels to address issues related to children's rights and well-being. This work is done in partnership with public organizations, the parliament, civil society, youth, the media, and multilateral and bilateral development partners.
