For World Children’s Day 2020, Carla, age 6, gives us a tour of UNICEF’s global supply hub, home to the largest humanitarian warehouse in the world, spanning over 20,000 m2 with the capacity to store up to 36,000 pallets, or movable blocks, of supplies.
In the film Carla guides us through her experience of visiting key locations in the warehouse, including at the entry door, on the landing above “Big Robert” the robot, near the School-in-the-Box packing line, on the floor watching warehouse staff move supplies with forklifts, in the High Bay robotic storage facility, and finally, in the showroom where items UNICEF distributes are on display.
All filming for this video was captured by Carla with a smartphone.
Enjoy!
