In 2023, the Vaccine Industry Consultation returned with a three-day meeting that covered the vaccine market overall including pentavalent and hexavalent, pneumococcal conjugate (PCV), rotavirus, human papillomavirus (HPV), measles containing (MCV), yellow fever vaccine (YFV), polio and COVID, in addition to new and emerging vaccines. It also provided the latest programmatic updates on the reductions in coverage, the Immunization Agenda (IA) 2030, WHO Prequalification updates and supply chain strengthening. Special topics such as sustainability, innovation, localization and pandemic preparedness and response were also explored.
