About
UNICEF has a significant role in the procurement of nutrition products for the treatment of malnutrition in children. In recognition of this and in an attempt to be fully transparent, UNICEF is makes available a retrospective of nutrition product prices for our international and local procurement of the product.
This overview has been prepared following consultations with international nutrition product suppliers to UNICEF on making pricing information more transparent. The prices obtained by UNICEF are based on the UNICEF mandate, UNICEF aggregated quantities, commercial terms, reliability of forecasts, timelines of payment, and a long-standing relationship with the industry.
