2022 Vaccine Industry Consultation (VIC) – COVID-19

Presentations from the meeting that gathered vaccine manufacturers, partners and donors in June 2022 in Copenhagen.

Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, UNICEF has been working to procure and supply COVID-19 vaccines around the world, in collaboration with the PAHO Revolving Fund.  Through the COVAX Facility – led by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, WHO and CEPI – UNICEF is working to secure global equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines.

On 3 June 2022, a specific Vaccine Industry Consultation dedicated exclusively to COVID-19 brought together vaccine manufacturers, partners and donors. The meeting was attended both online and in person and had the participation of several vaccine manufacturer’s representatives. It discussed lessons learned from the latest two years, the sector’s latest updates and provided a framework for consultations between industry and global partners.
