International assessments show that Kosovo’s students lag behind in digital literacy, while teachers often feel unprepared to use technology effectively in the classroom.

The report proposes a clear roadmap: update the curriculum to embed digital skills across all subjects, invest in modern infrastructure for every school, and provide targeted professional development for teachers. It also calls for the integration of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, and the creation of robust assessment tools to track progress. By fostering collaboration among government, educators, the private sector, and international partners, Kosovo can ensure every student and teacher is equipped for success in a digital world.
