1. How do I join Mitra Muda?
First, anyone can join Mitra Muda.
There are different types of membership in Mitra Muda. If you are a U-Reporter, then you are also part of Mitra Muda. If you are not a U-Reporter yet, you can join by typing JOIN and send it to U-Report WhatsApp at +628119004567 or click: Join U-Report.
If you’re interested to be part of Mitra Muda’s core team, you can join the open recruitment process that UNICEF Indonesia initiates every year where you will need to follow the selection stages. Watch for recruitment announcements on social media accounts of U-Report Indonesia.
2. I want to be part of Mitra Muda, what do I need to prepare?
The opportunity to join Mitra Muda is available for all youth in Indonesia regardless of gender, marital status, location, economic status, ethnicity, religion, immigration status, or disability. However, you need to be committed when going through the selection process and have this commitment reflected in your application and during interviews. Additionally, you will be encouraged to volunteer in social activities in your community and to inform your actions to Mitra Muda’s core team so that you can be promoted and can collaborate with U-Report Indonesia.
3. How can I support Mitra Muda’s activities?
To support Mitra Muda activities, you can follow U-Report Indonesia’s social media accounts to stay up to date. You can also participate in offline and online activities.
4. Can I connect with the Core Team-Mitra Muda?

5. If I join a Mitra Muda activity, is there a fee for joining?
This program is free of charge. Please be cautious if someone contacts you using UNICEF’s name and ask you to pay an amount of money or to share your personal data!
