विश्व बाल दिवस पर सर्वत्र नीला (गोइंग ब्लू) यूनिसेफ के बाल-अधिकारों के लिए खड़े होने के संकल्प का प्रतीक है | चूँकि इस वर्ष बड़ी संख्या में बच्चे कोविड - 19 महामारी से प्रभावित हुए हैं, इसलिए कोई समारोह नहीं किया जा रहा है, बस प्रत्येक बच्चे के लिए एक बेहतर दुनिया की पुनर्कल्पना का संकल्प लिया जा रहा है |

धार एवं झाबुआ जिले के छोटे-छोटे गाँव टीकाकरण, नवजात देखभाल, जलवायु परिवर्तन और बाल अधिकारों के संदेशों के साथ | जहाँ अनेकों शहरी इमारतों में नीली रोशनी रही, मध्य प्रदेश के धार और झाबुआ जिलों के आदिवासी गाँव नीले रंग में रंग दिए गए | पूरे गाँव में बच्चों और युवाओं ने टीकाकरण, नवजात देखभाल, जलवायु परिवर्तन और बाल अधिकारों के संदेशों के साथ दीवारों को नीले रंग में रंग दिया |

प्रतिष्ठित विधान सभा को नीले रंग की रोशनी से जगमग कर झारखंड के विधान सभा अध्यक्ष ने बाल अधिकारों की रक्षा के प्रति अपना समर्पण व्यक्त किया है | ये झारखण्ड के बच्चों की सुरक्षा, देखभाल और समर्थन के लोगों के सामान्य कर्तव्य को स्मरण कराने के लिए है | सर्वत्र नीला (गोइंग ब्लू) संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा बाल-अधिकार सम्मलेन को अपनाने की वर्षगांठ के रूप में मनाया जाता है |
विश्व बाल दिवस, मनोरंजन के साथ गंभीर सन्देश का दिन है | इस दिन सभी बच्चों को प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है कि वे अपने से सम्बंधित मुद्दों, जैसे शिक्षा, खेलने और पढ़ने के सुरक्षित स्थान और सकारात्मक वातावरण आदि पर अपनी आवाज़ उठाएं |
इस दिन यूनिसेफ के लिए सर्वत्र नीला (गोइंग ब्लू) अपनाकर मुझे उम्मीद है कि हम बच्चों के लिए बेहतर भविष्य निर्माण करेंगे और जागरूकता फैलाएंगे | हम यूनिसेफ और चाइल्ड रिपोर्टर्स के साथ हर वर्ष बाल दिवस मनाते रहे हैं जो कि अपने अधिकारों के लिए कार्रवाई कर के सभी के सामने एक उदहारण प्रस्तुत कर रहे हैं |
I hope that the blue lights will raise awareness about the rights and needs of children in Jharkhand. The need and right of every child to be in school, safe from harm so that they can reach their full potential.
कोविड - 19 महामारी के समय यूनिसेफ इंडिया का राष्ट्रीय कार्यालय और हमारे क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय बंद नहीं हुए | सुरक्षा के कड़े मानदंडों के साथ हम लगातार कार्य कर रहे हैं | ऑफिस के बहुत से लोग अभी भी घरों से काम कर रहे हैं| ऑफिस में सर्वत्र नीली रोशनी कर और फोटो शेयर करने से सभी को ऑफिस का वर्चुअल भ्रमण का मौका मिलेगा जहाँ हम रोज़ जाते थे |
