Highlights
The Municipal Public Finance Diagnostic contains information from official sources on key indicators related to public expenditure and the population targeted by public policies, with a particular focus on children and adolescents living in the municipality, as well as issues related to food and nutrition security.
It begins with an analysis of the context of each municipality, covering its main population characteristics, educational levels and coverage, housing conditions, and access to basic services such as water and sanitation. It also includes indicators on nutritional status, morbidity and mortality, and UNICEF’s Child and Adolescent Well-being Index.
