Highlights

Life-saving treatment in UNICEF-supported health facilities was provided to 35,910 children who were identified with severe wasting.
Child protection interventions reached 28,060 individuals (20,315 children) in crisis-affected regions.
UNICEF and its partners provided access to safe water and appropriate sanitation facilities to 137,126 people.
UNICEF played a key role in vaccination campaigns against yellow fever, polio, meningitis, and measles, providing support in logistics, supplies, social mobilization, technical supervision and data management.
The 2023-2030 Education Sector Plan which received ministerial endorsement addresses, for a first time, emergencies and crises, including climate shocks
